Rene Joseph Landry, 84, died June 12, 2012 at Touchpoints at Farmington, CT.
Born August 12, 1927 in Pelham, NY, Rene served in the US Navy from 1944-1946 during World War II on the aircraft carrier USS Randolph. He married the late Ruth Merkle of Mt. Vernon, NY on April 15, 1950.
Survived by daughters Alice of New York, NY and Pam of Milford, CT.
A floral designer at Flowers by Lillian in Larchmont, NY, Rene went on to a career in sales at Corham in White Plains, NY. He loved animals, flowers, the beach, the New York Yankees and the New York football Giants.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 16 at 3 p.m. at the , 2080 Boston Post Road Larchmont, NY.
