Bon Secours New York Health System Supports New Summer Play Street Initiative to Promote Healthy Living in Kingsbridge Heights

Bon Secours New York Health System’s (BSNY) Schervier Nursing Care Center, specializing in long-term  and rehabilitation care, joined the Kingsbridge Heights Community Center and local residents in celebrating the official kick off of the Kingsbridge Heights summer play street, on July 26, 2013. The new play street will help families in the community to get outside and be active. Play streets is a citywide program led by the New York City Departments of Health & Mental Hygiene and Transportation, to help reduce obesity and to strengthen relationships between local organizations and the families that they serve.
