Funny you should ask. The Pelham Picture House will be featuring this 60s classic tonight in honor of the film’s 50th anniversary in conjunction with its Women on Film series. The wine reception kicks off at 6:30 p.m. and the theater lights go down at 7 p.m. Stick around for a Q & A with author Sam Wasson and film critic Caryn James.

Inasmuch as we would like to will the sun to come out, it doesn’t look like that’s going to be the case today, according to the National Weather Service. Instead, we’ll be seeing scattered showers, with possible thunderstorms after 2 p.m., but the high is supposed to inch toward 71 degrees. Tonight, there are still chances for showers, thunderstorms and fog, and the low drops to around 57 degrees.

It may be raining out, but PMHS’ orchestra and chorus members will be heating up the stage tonight at 7 p.m. when they perform in the auditorium.

Apply for a Ballet Scholarship

Don’t let ballet’s prohibitive costs keep your young dancers from pursuing their dreams. is now offering summer and fall scholarships for budding dancers between the ages of 6 and 14. The summer program starts June 27 and the fall classes begin Sept. 19. The one-day audition will be held on June 11 at the Ballet Arts Studio at 11 a.m. Email scholarship@ballet-arts.net for more information.
