He has been in the same home since he was six-month-old and is currently in a foster home where he is going through additional obedience training to prepare for his new life with a loving owner. Bart is a male Beagle, between 2 to 5 years old, medium sized at 25-50 lbs.

If we were on an episode of “The Simpsons” and I was tall enough to write on a chalkboard that might be what I would have to write . . .  Hi everyone!  My name is Bart and I’m a 2 year-old Beagle mix.  And the sniffers of us Beagles know no bounds!  But seriously, I’m an adorable and happy-go-lucky guy whose bowl is always half-full!  I love to be outside sniffing but I love hanging out with people and getting lots of attention and love and kisses!  So if you’re looking for a handsome hound (with a great sense of humor) then you better get to DAWS and meet me!!

"Bobby" Available for Foster or Adoption through OPIN in Stamford, CT

Hi! I’m Bobby! I am only one year old, but I am fully grown. Are you wondering how I got so beautiful and BIG? It’s because I am a mix between a Golden Retriever (that’s where I got my beautiful long hair from and my unmatched fetching skills), a Weimeraner (that’s why my foster mom calls me shadow sometimes- I follow her everywhere! AND my energy! I like exercise, but I get tired quick because of my big body), and a Staffordshire (that’s where I get my love of people and my muscular body!) I like to think I am the perfect mix.
