Community Service Associates is Collecting Toys for the Needy
Toys will be given to children during the Mount Vernon organization's annual Christmas party.
MOUNT VERNON—Community Service Associates in Mount Vernon is accepting donations of toys for its annual Christmas party.
Community Service Associates is a multi-service family agency providing more than 72,000 meals and ancillary services yearly to those in need.
Roberta Apuzzo, the organization’s executive director, said the Christmas party draws more than 300 people each year. Unfortunately, there usually aren’t enough toys to give to all the children in attendance, according to Apuzzo.
