Since summer's half over — and 2011 draws more quickly towards a close with every day — what are those that have yet to be completed? 3. Another Earth, another love, another you... Physicists' speculations about alternate realities aside, that's the plot — and the dilemma — of "Another Earth." Featuring actors Brit Marling and Willim Mapother, this film chronicles the story of an MIT student and a composer who find a duplicate of our planet... along with a fledgling romance. Tonight at 7:30 p.m., the in Pleasantville will hold a screening of "Another Earth," followed by a Q&A with Marling, Mapother, filmmaker Mike Cahill and New York Times critic Janet Maslin. Although you'll have to travel to — ahem — "another town" to participate in this event, you can't beat a cool movie theater on a hot summer night... or the cinematic insights of a New York Times film critic to help you delve deeper into the subtext and themes of this Sundance Film Festival prize winning flick. 4. There’s no way we would trade the summer sun, for winter’s chill, but we’re still paying heed to the Westchester County Health Department’s heat advisory. As temperatures continue to rise, residents are advised to avoid strenuous activity, drink plenty of non-alcoholic, non-caffeinated fluids, and take precautions against suffering heat-related illness. Pool anyone?

5. Since the weather's making you sweat, you might as well eat spicy food that'll make a few beads of perspiration pop across your brow line before you can say "Ole!"
