We can’t think of a better place to curl up with a good story that the Pelham library, which is a good thing, considering that story time is held at 10:30 a.m. today for kids ages 3 to 5.

While Pelham succeeded in passing a sound school budget for next year, some nearby districts aren’t faring as well. Consider donating a few dollars (about the price of a latte) to the "Adopt a Classroom" campaign, to help schools in need purchase basic supplies.

Stay Dry

The world didn’t end (phew), but the rain is still pouring down. Expect scattered showers and thunderstorms, and then more of the same after 2 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. The high will likely creep up to 71 degrees, and then we may see more rainfall before 2 a.m.
