"Pelville in Bloom" Contest

The Pelville Association is holding its first Pelville in Bloom Contest, sponsored by New York State Senator
Jeffrey D. Klein, to celebrate the efforts and achievements of residents and businesses who contribute to
making Pelville a cleaner and more beautiful place to live, work and visit. Participate by beautifying your place
of business or residence with hanging flower baskets, flower containers, and gardens with plants and shrubs.

ELIGIBILITY

Anybody who has a residence or a place of
business on Fifth Avenue (between Pelham Train
Station and Chester Park) or a place of business
on Lincoln Avenue, within the Pelville district, is
eligible to enter the contest which is FREE.

There are 5 Contest Categories, as follows:

• Best Bloomin’ Container
• Best Bloomin’ Hanging Basket
• Best Bloomin’ Business
• Best Bloomin’ Bar, Restaurant, Deli or Pizzeria
• Best Bloomin’ Garden or Green Space

NOTE:
• Hanging baskets and containers managed by the Town or the Pelham Preservation & Garden Society are
excluded from the contest.
• Additional details and Registration Forms are available on the Pelville Association website
www.pelville.org. Completed forms should reach the association on or before June 14, 2011.
• Winners in each category will be honored at an award ceremony to be held in early September 2011 and
all participants will receive a certificate acknowledging their participation.
