Why go: Director Dori Berinstein and co-writer Adam Zucker use this documentary fto capture  the magic and vivacity of the 90-year-old Channing - both onstage and off.

WhereWhen: , located on 1974 Commerce Street in Yorktown Heights, March 23-24 at 8 p.m. and March 25 at 2 p.m.

Why go: The comedic opera centers on an old man who needs to be taught a hard lesson about chasing young women. His family and friends lead him to believe he is wedding the girl of his dreams, only to find she is his worst nightmare.

Pricing: Tickets range from $15-$57. 

3. The Annual Huguenot Cabaret

WhereWhen: The Huguenot Memorial Church, located on 901 Pelhamdale Ave. in Pelham, from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Why go: The event, which is the main fundraiser of the Presbyterian Women of Huguenot Memorial Church, will feature performances by singers and musicians in the community. Dinner starts at 6 p.m., followed by performances at 7:30 p.m. and a dessert buffet. Anyone who is interested in attending should contact Julia Coss at (914) 712-3618 for more information.

4. The Boys & Girls Club of Mount Vernon Hosts 100th Anniversary Gala WhereWhen: , located on 699 Westchester Avenue in  Rye Brook, Saturday, March 24, 6:30 p.m.

Why go: The event, which will be hosted Academy Award-winning actor Denzel Washington, will benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Mount Vernon. Gala honorees include YES Network Yankees broadcaster Ken Singleton; WCBS 2 meteorologist Elise Finch; NYC Sen. Malcolm Smith and the Kiwanis Club of Mount Vernon. Posthumous awards will also be given to former state assemblyman and athletic commissioner John R. Branca and former boxing promoter Butch Lewis.

WhereWhen: , located on  311 Huguenot St. in New Rochelle, Saturday, March 24, 8 p.m.

Why go: Flutist Pam Sklar is holding a release party  for her CD, “A Native-American jazz Tribute: A Tune For America.” Sklar will be joined by friends and colleagues playing strings and other instruments.
