Why go: Presbyterian Women of Huguenot Memorial Church are hosting their first ever "Comedy Cafe" in the church's Soper Chapel. Donna East, NYC's "Queen of Clean," will perform original material, straight from the strange experiences of her wacky life, crazy family and life's funky stuff. East has performed on the Late Show with David Letterman, the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, at "Carolines on Broadway" and at the Gotham Comedy Club. Price of admission includes the one-hour comedy show and light refreshments.

Why go: Get what you need for your garden and support river
education and the environment. You can get seasonably priced vegetables, herbs, flowers, perennials and hanging baskets. New this year are organic vegetables and herbs. There will be free face painting and a Mother's Day craft activity from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
4. Suburbia Roller Derby

Why go: The Suburbia Roller Derby's Backyard Bullies host Garden State Rollergirls' Brick City Bruisers in their only home game of the season. Why go: This weekly yoga class offers inspiration and bonding for women touched by cancer. Yoga: For Women Survivors includes breathing exercises, healing yoga sequences, restorative yoga and journaling. The class is appropriate for women of all ages and at various stages either during or after treatment for cancer. No prior yoga experience necessary.
