We're still waiting for the warm sun on our faces as Easter Sunday approaches.  There's lots to do this weekend, including Saturday events for all, and Sunday choices for those who don't celebrate Easter (or a post-Easter brunch outing for those who do).


Where/When: Saturday, April 23 at 11 a.m. at The Pelham Picture House.
Why Go: Family Flicks invites families to enjoy an affordable movie on the big screen starring Wilbur, Charlotte and the rest of the gang in this heartwarming tale.
Pricing: $5 members, $8 non-members; family-level memberships can use their voucher for free admission!


Where/When: Saturday, April 23 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. at the Greenburgh Nature Center.
Why Go: You visit the Nature Center and enjoy their fabulous programs and attractions all year; now’s the time to show the kids the fun of giving back. The Children & Nature Networks G. O. (Get Outdoors) initiative gets intergenerational groups outside as families will spruce up the grounds, prepare planting beds, clear the trails , and celebrate Earth Day.  Wear work clothes!
Pricing: Free (satisfied feeling: priceless).


Where/When: April 23 or April 24 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. at the New York Botanical Gardens.
Why Go: This is your last chance to see this dramatic show of orchids and other spring ingenues as Broadway comes to the Botanical Gardens. Show closes April 25.
Pricing: $20 adults, $18 seniors/students, $8 children, under 2 free.


Where/When: Saturday, April 23 at 8 p.m. at the Academic Arts Theatre at Westchester Community College.
Why Go: Transport your older kids to the 60s and 70s with a stunning musical performance where audience members are invited to create the playlist.
Pricing: $20; $18 students/seniors/faculty-staff; $13 children under 13. Buy Tickets.


Where/When: Saturday, April 23 or Sunday, April 24 at 12 p.m. at The Jacob Burns Film Center.
Why Go: The Burns Center Kids’ Films series presents Anastasia. Watch a destitute Ingrid Bergman transform into the beautiful Princess Anastasia in this 1956 classic.
Pricing: $1 kids; $11 adults, $6 members.


Where/When: Saturday, April 23 at 10 a.m. at the , or at 11 a.m. at the Huguenot Library.
Why Go: Certified Kids Yoga Instructor Susan Fried will take toddlers on a "yoga adventure" using puppets, props and songs. For toddlers up to 24 months. Parents are encouraged to participate.
