Grab & Go Kids Planner: Musical Theater, Reading Clouds and Marionettes

This may be the last weekend before sports activities switch into high gear, so spend some fun time with the kids:

Why Go: Kids will love a live, professional show of one of Disney’s most endearing group of characters at a fraction of the cost of Broadway's rendition.

Where/When: Saturday, April 9 at 1 p.m. at Cranberry Lake Preserve.
Why Go: Kids with an interest in science will enjoy exploring the stories the clouds can tell about weather and more.

Where/When: Saturday, April 9 at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. at the Emelin Theatre in Mamaroneck.
Why Go: Kids will be enthralled with the fantastic life-like marionettes in this internationally-acclaimed show.
Pricing: $9.95 Adults, $6.95 children.


Where/When: Saturday, April 9 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, April 10 at 3 p.m. at the Westchester Sandbox Theatre.
Why Go: Kids 12 and up will revel in this funny and heartwarming musical production.
Pricing: $24 adults, $20 students and seniors.


Where/When: Sunday, April 10 at Greenburgh Nature Center.
Why Go: Naturalist Greg Wechgelaer introduces kids to some of his favorite GNC critters.
Pricing: Free with museum admission ($7 adults, $6 seniors/students, $5 children 2-12).


Where/When: Saturday, April 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at in Larchmont.
Why Go: Because kids grow faster than their sports equipment wears out, and your pocketbook will thank you! Donations are accepted.
