The Westchester-Putnam School Boards Association is sponsoring its annual Prospective School Board Member Workshop this Thursday, March 29 from 5:45 p.m. to 9:30 pm at the Education House, 5 Homeside Ln. in White Plains. Anyone interested in running for their local school boards now or in the future is encouraged and invited to attend.
The session is free for prospective board of education members from member school districts. Others are welcome for a $10 fee. The deadline to register for the workshop is Wednesday.
