April’s gone, but the showers are still coming down, according to the National Weather Service. Expect showers, and maybe a thunderstorm, before noon, cloudy skies and a high near 60 degrees. Rain may return again before midnight and temperatures drop to about 46 degrees.

The Westchester County Department of Health will hold its annual water tasting contest today, in front of the Michaelian Office Building (148 Martine Ave., White Plains) from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.  In case of rain, the event will take place on May 5.
