The insignia consists of an open 4-petal Lily of France, with the petals signifying the Four Gospels. Each petal has at its outside periphery two rounded points at the corners, signifying the Eight Beatitudes. The petals are joined together by four fleurs-de-lis, with each having three petals. The 12 petals signify the Twelve Apostles. A descending dove represents a Sainted Spirit.
