Pelham Lights Up for the Holidays Saturday

The tree lighting ceremony and "Light Up Pelham" are both scheduled to take place Saturday.

Pelham will be full of holiday cheer Saturday when the town holds its annual tree lighting ceremony and the Junior League  hosts “Light Up Pelham.”

The tree lighting ceremony starts at 4 p.m. at the Richard J. Daronco Town House. Town officials will be in attendance and Santa Claus is expected to make a special guest appearance at the event, which is open to the public.

“Light Up Pelham” is scheduled to took place later in the day at 8 p.m.  The event, which serves as a fundraiser for the Junior League of Pelham, invites people to put light kits outside of their homes for one night. The Junior League has been selling luminary kits for a little more than a month in preparation for the celebration.
