Thanksgiving Dishes Needed for Sandy Relief

The Sandy Relief Team is taking cooked Thanksgiving dishes to Sandy victims, with your help.

The Pelham Community Relief Team is still working hard for Sandy victims. Their latest campaign is to bring a home-cooked dinner to hard-hit storm areas on Thanksgiving Day next Thursday.

Displaced residents in Howard Beach are unable to cook, so the volunteer group intends to do it for them, sharing the bounty of the holiday despite the constraints.

PCRT needs volunteers to donate cooked, packaged dishes and to help with the caravan to deliver them to Howard Beach.

"Volunteers will transport your donations to a community center in Howard Beach that was severely affected by Superstorm Sandy."
