(LRT) will be hosting OPEN AUDITIONS for its Spring 2013 production, the Outer Critics Circle and Drama Desk Award-winning "riotous 90 minutes of belly laughs", XANADU: THE MUSICAL! Thomas Paine Readers Club, Wednesday, March 6, 7 p.m. Thomas Paine Memorial Building, 983 North Ave., New Rochelle, NY. The Thomas Paine Readers Club meets on the first and third Wednesdays of the month through June. An intellectual excursion into the literary, philosophical, historical and political life and works of Paine. Whatever your background or interests may be, you are welcome to participate. Organic Abstracts: Public Art Installation, Monday, March 4. Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum, 895 Shore Rd., Bronx, NY. From March 4 until March 24 visitors to the Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum’s gardens will be able to view the first public art installation in Pelham Bay Park in over twenty years. Organic Abstracts is an exhibition by the West Harlem Art Fund in partnership with the Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum and the City of New York Parks & Recreation department for Armory Week 2013. The featured artist is Dianne Smith, a native New Yorker who was born and raised in the Bronx. Organic Abstracts consists of two large-scale, outdoor sculptures showcasing Smith’s minimalist approach to large, abstract works. Both pieces are made from repurposed materials that are incorporated into the landscape. For more information, call 718-885-1461.

CNR Castle Gallery Presents “Terra Incognita” Through Sunday, March 31, The College of New Rochelle, 29 Castle Pl., New Rochelle, NY. The College of New Rochelle’s (CNR) Castle Gallery will present Terra Incognita, the work of nine artists who are interested in the connection between physical and psychological spaces; many through spacescapes, cityscapes, landscapes, and bodyscapes.
