Bartow-Pell Mansion Shows Storybook Xmas Trees

8 children's storybook Xmas trees at Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum.

Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum has 8 beautiful Christmas trees inspired by classic children's storybooks including The Velveteen Rabbit, Raggedy Andy Stories, Paddington and the Christmas Surprise, Babar and Father Christmas and How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

The museum starts its holiday event season today with a Holiday Luncheon with children's book illustrator Pamela Dalton. 

There will be a full day of events Saturday including the Annual Family Day from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be a shadow puppet show with French artist Caroline Borderies at 10:15 a.m.. and 12:15 p.m. Santa will also pose for professional photos (additional fee). Adults will enjoy a Holiday Evening Celebration with cocktails and caroling at 7 p.m.
