HUDSON VALLEY SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL PRESENTS IN PROCESS CONTEMPORARY PERFORMANCE SERIES
The Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival knows that going to the theater does not always have to be a button-down affair. In the interest of having an old-fashioned good time, HVSF has partnered with the Philipstown Depot Theatre to present In Process, a series of contemporary performances this August. Returning for a second season, In Process HVSF actors in a no holds barred environment, serving up unpredictable improv, staged readings and more. All In Process performances are free; however donations will be accepted at the door. Seating is limited and tickets may be reserved through Brown Paper Tickets. The Philipstown Depot Theatre is located at 10 Garrison Landing in Garrison. 10 Minute Play Festival!
HVSF Company members will read several new 10-minute plays written by award-winning playwrights and friends of HVSF, with each play judged by a distinguished panel of individuals from the Hudson Valley theater scene and community. The winning play will be fully produced and performed at “Cabaret Au Naturel” on August 20.

Improv Theater Sports
Divided into two teams, HVSF players will face off in an off-the-cuff improv comedy competition rivaling the Upright Citizens Brigade. Audience members will steer the evening by suggesting a variety of scenarios from household squabbles to road trip follies. Following Improv Theater Sports, mature audiences are invited to stick around for Raw Stand-up Comedy at 9:30, featuring fresh comedy acts by new stand-up comedians.

Jason O’Connell’s Batman: Turn Off the Dork
When he’s not practicing his craft on stage, who would have known that HVSF veteran actor Jason O’Connell is an avid Batman fan? O’Connell brings his hilarious and touching one-man show to the Depot Theatre after its premiere at Tada! Youth Theater’s Emerging Artists New Works Series in New York.

Cabaret Au Naturel
