Yonkers Downtown BID Continues Fifth Annual Free Jazz & Blues at Dusk Concert Series, Friday, August 5

Fifth Annual Jazz and Blues at Dusk, the free outdoor summer concert series presented every Friday evening through September 2 by the Yonkers Downtown Waterfront Business Improvement District.  The concerts are performed by top artists by the Yonkers waterfront, providing jazz and blues fans with great views of the Hudson River. This Friday: Luiz Simas Rio native Luiz Simas is a multi-faceted artist: singer, pianist, group leader, composer of songs and instrumental pieces, performer of solo piano pieces, producer and arranger.  He has recorded several CDs of various genres such as Brazilian Ragtime, free piano improvisation and Brazilian pop/jazz.
