Nagorski in Author Spotlight at Bartow-Pell Next Week

Andrew Nagorski's WWII history gets the spotlight next week.

Award-winning journalist Andrew Nagorski will discuss his recent book Hitlerland: American Eyewitnesses to the Nazi Rise to Power at Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum next Thursday, January 17 at 7:30 p.m.

A foreign correspondent and editor at Newsweek for three decades, Nagorski is now vice president and director of public policy at the EastWest Institute, a New York-based international affairs think tank.

The book will soon to be made into a television series and has drawn the praise of former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger: "Andrew Nagorski, a deft storyteller, has plumbed the dispatches, diaries, letters, and interviews of American journalists, diplomats, and others who were present in Berlin to write a fascinating account of a fateful era."

Admission to the event is $10 for adults and $7 for seniors. For more information, call 718-885-1461.
