Pelham Native to Show Artwork at New Rochelle City Hall

Christopher Brown's illustration's will be featured at the Rotunda Gallery in New Rochelle City Hall June 12—22.

 

Christopher Brown, an illustrator and musician who was born and raised in Pelham, is having an opening reception for his art exhibit from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 12, at the Rotunda Gallery in New Rochelle City Hall.

The show will feature Brown’s depictions of favorite Yankees and Mets, as well as such diverse characters as Mark Twain and Neil Young, Bernadette Peters and cast members from the television series “The Sopranos,” and many others. The illustrations will be available for sale. Brown’s will be on display through June 22.

In addition to the drawings, Brown will also sing selections from his new music CD, “Characterist.” Brown will be accompanied by Peter Calo on guitar.

The New Rochelle Council on the Arts, which manages the Rotunda Gallery, is hosting the reception and  refreshments are being provided by “Dinner in Hand.”  

The Rotunda Gallery is located on the first floor of New Rochelle’s City Hall at 515 North Avenue. Gallery hours are weekdays from 10 am to 4 pm. For additional information visit www.newrochellearts.org.
