Pelham Picture House Renovated and Reopened

After six months, The Picture House is back.

Pelham residents and supporters from the surrounding area, flocked to the Pelham Picture House on Friday to get a sneak peek of the fully restored and reopened theater.

"We are so excited to welcome our patrons and members back to the restored 1921 Picture House," said Jennifer Christman, Picture House executive director. "Beyond the stunning physical transformation, we are rolling out an abundance of film and education programs."

The educational programs are being offered to aspiring film artists in grades 2-12. The classes range from screenwriting and storyboarding to acting and directing. They will continue to offer the Evening Film Club for students and classes for adults will be coming soon.

Don't forget to mark your calendars for the 90th Birthday Gala, which will be held on April 9. To reserve your table, contact Lizzie Cooper at cooper@thepicturehouse.org.
