Dining Al Fresco in Pelham at Bistro Rollin

A summer menu utilizes seasonal vegetables.

Looking for a Pelham restaurant where you can eat al fresco during the warm summer months?

There are more choices than there used to be, thanks to a recent vote by the Village of Pelham board of trustees, but one of the first to offer outdoor dining was Bistro Rollin.

Located at 142 Fifth Ave., the restaurant is surrounded by flower boxes and outfitted with patio umbrellas.

Paul Bratone, co-owner and manager, said the restaurant welcomed more company on Pelham's sidewalks.

"Pelham is one of the most walkable villages in Westchester," he said, "and we think that additional sidewalk cafes and restaurants will add to the unique friendliness and charm of our downtown."

He said Chef Manny Lozano has come up with a new summer menu that includes homemade tagliatelle with pesto, spring peas and pancetta, along with natural roast chicken with ratatouille and fingerling potatoes.

Bistro Rollin serves lunch from noon to 2:30 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays. Dinner is available from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays and from 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Call 914-633-0780 for reservations.
