Pelham's New Designer Consignment Shop

The new shop, which carries women's bags, clothes and shoes, is run by Kathy Reese and her husband.

A new, designer consignment shop is opening up in Pelham this week. The shop, located at 111 Wolfs Lane, is called Wolfs Lane Designer Consignment. The high-end consignment store carries top designer brands, such as Chanel, Hermes and Louis Vuitton.

The new shop, which also carries women's bags, clothes and shoes, is run by Kathy Reese and her husband. The couple plans on opening up their store on Wednesday. When it opens, the hours will be Monday-Saturday from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Patch got an exclusive interview with Wolfs Lane Designer Consignment Owner Kathy Reese. Here is what she had to say about her new store:

Patch: How did you get the idea for the store?

Kathy: I've always been a huge fan of high-end designer consignment stores, adoring couture items, but not couture prices.   has a wonderful mix of people, both as potential clients on the buy side and the sell side. We thought a store like ours would be a natural fit in this community. I tested the concept with the great Moms of Pelham group on Facebook with 850 plus members and got an overwhelmingly positive response. Hence the idea was put in play.

Patch: What was the hardest part about setting up your shop?

Kathy: The hardest part of opening the store has been pulling together all the necessary elements to run this unique business. We worked very diligently to find the right staff, proper display fixtures, customized software and hundreds of other subtle nuances to make a go of the business.

Patch: Why did you choose to set up shop in Pelham?

Kathy: We feel that we will be a unique addition to the neighborhood, offering many items not to be found elsewhere in Pelham. The consignment concept in and of itself offers vast benefits.  Women often buy an expensive dress for one particular occasion and then banish it to the recesses of their closet. We offer an opportunity to recoup part of the purchase price, and pass that dress along to another woman in the same situation.  Our children's clothes are top of the line, in both brand and condition.

Patch: What unique addition will your store bring to the Pelham community?

Kathy: Pelham is a family community with kids who grow out of their clothes overnight. Why not recycle them?
