Provisions Bakery on Wolfs Lane is just one of many Pelham businesses ready for St. Patrick's Day this weekend. Owner Nannette Connors fielded phone orders and customer requests even as she managed her busy pastry chefs.
Those "Kiss Me, I'm Irish" treats may have been snapped up, but racks of still-warm Irish soda bread filled the store Friday with a delicious aroma. There are also plenty of shamrocked cupcakes and green glitter-covered sugar cookies.
