Readers' Choice: Best Pet Groomers

Where do your beloved pets go to get their coats groomed?

There is nothing like a fresh grooming to give your dog the confidence she needs to strut her stuff at the dog park. Your dog looks good, smells good and might even feel good after a proper grooming.

So where do you bring your dog, cat or ferret (do they do ferrets?) for their grooming? There are many options in the area from the Rivertowns to Ossining and Pleasantville; see the list below and vote in our poll and/or leave a comment about your favorite place.

  • , Ossining
  • , Sleepy Hollow
  • Happy Tails Grooming Salon, Irvington
  • , Ardsley
  • , Pleasantville
  • , Dobbs Ferry
  • , Hastings
  • , Pleasantville
  • , Ossining
  • , Ossining

The poll is open until 9 a.m. Friday. Ties will be broken by whichever business has the most positive comments in the section below. We will announce the winner at noon Friday.

So tell us what your favorite place is to get your pet groomed. And don't forget to tell us in the comments below why. Go to a nearby groomer not our list? Please name them in the comments so we can include them to the poll.

Because the poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results and reviews on Patch Places. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch.

we go to see Jen of Pupparazzi at sleepy hollow animal hospital to get our cute as a little button pug groomed. He comes out happy and clean enough to let him sleep in our bed : ). Thanks Jen! - Pupparazzi

My pooch is a pain in the butt when she is getting groomed, but the folks at Pretty Pets know how to handle her and make her look beautiful when she is done. Highly recommend them for "difficult" dogs!

Puparazzi is where my two babies get the perfect grooming. Jenn knows how handle & cut my handsome silky terrier. Thank you, Jenn.
