Smashburger to Sell Pink Shakes for Breast Cancer

The restaurant guarantees a minimum donation of $25,000.

In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Smashburger is selling a Raspberry Sorbet Shake to benefit Susan G. Komen.

The pink shake is available through the month of October and sells for $4.49.

Forty cents of each shake sold will be donated to Komen.

Dorothy Jones, vice president of marketing at Susan G. Komen, said they were excited to be partnering with Smashburger.

"By purchasing a Raspberry Sorbet Shake, customers are making a real impact in the live of women and men facing breast cancer in their communities and around the globe."

Each shake is sold with a matching pink straw. Customers will also have an opportunity to make their own donation to Komen online at www.komen.org/smashburger.

Customer donations will be incremental to Smashburger's minimum guaranteed donation of $25,000.

Smashburger has restaurants in Pelham Manor, 847 Pelham Pwky., Mamaroneck, 448 Mamaroneck Ave., and White Plains, 49 Tarrytown Rd.
