The days of fist pumping at , affectionately known as “The Turtle" or "Turtle,” will soon be memory as The Rec Room moves into its space at 201 E. Post Rd. in White Plains—bringing a new venue to Westchester where music lovers can rock out to the latest live bands and DJs.

The Rec Room—which will be open on Fridays and Saturdays from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m.—will hold its grand opening on Saturday, April 14 at 9 p.m. The inaugural band will be Whoz Ya Daddy, followed by DJ Louie Nunez. Admission is free before 10 p.m.

We need more of this in Westchester there really is no where to go and see bands and dance and maybe at some point someone will open some places non alcoholic for the younger crowds.

I totally agree, I wish there were more places that had activities like music, games and other entertainment for those who want to be out and have fun, but not focus solely on drinking.
