“The Hunger Games” movie premiered in theaters, and it was just as I imagined it.
Jennifer Lawrence stars as Katniss Everdeen, a girl living in the future North America, a future that isn’t so bright. There are twelve districts and a Capitol. The Capitol makes each district send one boy and one girl as a Tribute to enter into a fight to the death. The last child of the 24 from age 12 to 18 who is alive wins.

Katniss and her sister Prim (Willow Sheilds) live in District 12. There is a Reaping Day in which the Tributes are chosen. Unfourtunatly, Prim’s name is picked from a large bowl filled with names. Katniss volunteers to take her place. She learns her fellow District 12 tribute is Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson).
I think they did a great job with the actors. Katniss seemed so perfect. I’m guessing the movie must have been difficult to make. When I was watching the movie, I felt like I was actually there. It pleased me, a huge “Hunger Games” fan.
