Family chess night Feb. 13 is great way for kids and families to play

COLONIAL GYM — Family chess night on Feb. 13 will be a great way for kids and their families to learn chess.

More than a dozen students from Colonial School will come and play chess instructor Mike Ellenbogen in a simultaneous game.

Tables will also be set up for students to play against their family members if they’re not playing against Mr. Ellenbogen.

Refreshments will be served. When you arrive, there will be a sign-up sheet at the door for the simultaneous game. Kindergarten through second grade students will play from 4:30 pm to 5:45 pm and third grade through fifth will play from 5:45 p.m. to 7 p.m.
