COLONIAL PLAYGROUND — WABC News came to Colonial School to over Stuff a Bus.

Colonial was one of the few schools that WABC News visited. Two students, Brianna Vinci and Anna Shampanier-Bowen, were interviewed about the program that collects pajamas and books for children in need.

“It was amazing to be on TV,” said Brianna, who is in 5H.

“It was very fun,” Brooke Gilbertson (KM) said of Stuff a bus.

“I was happy I helped,” said Henry Kagan (1C). That really was what all of the first graders said.

“It was a cool experience,” said Eleanor Neu (2S). “It made me really happy because kids got PJs,” said Sean Diaz-McCarthy  (3L).

Most of the other kids that were on TV said that it felt good to donate.

The editor of the television piece had to edit a lot because all the kids popped their heads and hands in front of the camera wanting to be on TV.

This story also appears on the Colonial Times website.
