Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Captain Underpants writers to do Story Smash Up webinar free for kids

NEW YORK — Scholastic has announced Story Smash Up, an online webinar this Wednesday with two really popular authors. You are not going to want to miss this!

Jeff Kinney (author of the Dairy of a Wimpy Kid series) will be there along with Dav Pilkey (author of the Captain Underpants series). This is a big celebration where both authors will work together to show students how to write a story. It's the first time the two big authors have come together.

The writers will explore "character, setting, plot, action and more," said Scholastic in a press release.

Some Colonial teachers are planning to show the live event in their classrooms.

This event will happen on Jan. 15 at 1 pm. Sign up with your teacher.
