Girl Scouts enjoy holiday caroling at Wartburg Nursing Home on Dec. 14

The girls started on the top floor, singing songs like "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" and "Silent Night." For "The Twelve Days of Christmas," the girls held up cute signs for each day in the song.

MOUNT VERNON — On Dec. 14, Girl Scout Troops 1664 and 1667 went caroling at the Wartburg Nursing Home. The girls went floor to floor spreading holiday cheer.

"I liked it a lot because it made me feel good caroling for people," said Jamie Burke from Troop 1664.

"I liked it because we were cheering up elder people so I felt good about myself," said Larisa Breskin from Troop 1667

The girls really enjoyed caroling. Their troop leaders hope to do it next year.
