YONKERS — There's a new Legoland Discovery Center in Yonkers, and it's a big hit. Lego fans now have an experience they can go to without traveling to Legoland in Florida.
At Legoland, there's a big play place with ladders, slides, nets, forts and lots of big Lego bricks. There's also a ride where you have a laser gun to shoot enemies. There's a gift shop and a castle hall.
"Legoland is awesome!" said Nick Cross (5S). "They have big Lego bricks, which you can build with."
A Lego city has a subway that moves and a boat in water that moves. In the city, you can play a pinball baseball game (which is hard). This is a real Yonkers tourist attraction. It's a way to go to Legoland without traveling so far.
Marco Gracie (5S) said, "It's pretty cool, but not as cool as the first one. It's like a discovery center."
Robert Bischof (5H) said, "It was pretty good overall, but some flaws. The service was bad, and the setup was bad. Four out of five for me."
This is a good place to go. And don't forget to see the LEGO movie.
