Guitarist and recording artist John Walsh, a Mamaroneck resident, has been booked to entertain on New Year's Eve at Roasted Peppers in Mamaroneck beginning at 9 p.m. Entrée choices for New Year's Eve include roast ducking, bleu cheese crusted filet mignon, osso buco, seafood and pasta.
The four-course, prix-fixe dinner includes a complimentary drink, choice of coffee or tea, and a midnight champagne toast. The cost is $60 per person plus tax and tip.
The dinner menu follows:
Starter
- Butternut squash soup
- New England clam chowder
- House salad with citrus vinaigrette
- Chorizo and potato taquitos
- Lump crab cake with tartar sauce
- Grilled vegetable or lobster and brie quesadilla
- Sesame-seed crusted Ahi tuna. Pan seared. With Wasabi sweet pea purée, mashed potatoes and baby bok choy
- Half Long Island roast duckling. In red wine and fig sauce. Served with roasted sweet potato and Swiss chard
- Bleu cheese crusted filet mignon. With port wine reduction, au gratin potatoes and sautéed broccoli
- Lobster mac and cheese. Butter poached lobster with Shitake mushrooms, truffle cream and cheddar gratin
- Pork osso buco. With wild mushroon polenti and Swiss chard
- Wild mushroom rivoli. With grilled vegetables in porcini cream sauce
- Paella. Lobster meat, shrimp, calamari, Little Neck clams, mussels, chicken, chorizo, sweet peas, and peppers and onions in saffron rice
- Tiramisu
- Mango cheesecake
