"Something's Afoot," a Musical, to Be Staged by the Armonk Players

The musical Something's Afoot will be performed by the Armonk Players at Whippoorwill Hall in Armonk beginning on Friday, November 8.

The resemblance of the plot for Something's Afoot to Agatha Christie's tale in her popular novel And Then There Were None is not a coincidence. Something's Afoot is a spoof of Christie's best selling mystery book.

First staged more than 40 years ago, Something's Afoot made it to Broadway in 1976. The book And Then There Were None (also known as Ten Little Indians) was published in 1939 and has been reproduced as a nonmusical play and film.

The Armonk production was directed by Pia Haas, Assaf Gleizner provided music direction and Anthony Valbiro was the choreographer.

The cast members: Daniel Basiletti, Beth Brandon, Marlana Fillanino, Jason Fogarty, Chris Jamison, Elyse Jasensky, Rusty Judd, Mark Pierce, Jeff Schlotman and Tony Val.
