Exit 6N on Cross County Parkway to Close Today

Drivers are advised to follow detour signs when driving on the Cross County Parkway today.

Motorists heading west on the Cross County Parkway are advised that Exit 6N in Yonkers, which leads northbound on the Bronx River Parkway, will be closed today from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., according to the state Department of Transportation.

The exit will be closed so that Westchester County workers can perform routine maintenance.

Drivers are advised to follow the detour signs posted in the area and to use caution.

Motorists are reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of the driver’s license.
