First sale date is Friday, Nov. 23 and continues thru Saturday, Dec. 22 (UNLESS SOLD OUT). All ages are welcome, parking is free. Trees priced according to size and type.

Colonial School Blood Drive, Friday, Dec 14, 3:15 p.m. Colonial Elementary School, 315 Highbrook Ave., Pelham NY. Hurricane Sandy interfered with blood drives around the region, which has led to an expected shortfall of 12,000 units over the next 30 days. Westchester Ballet Company Presents: The Nutcracker, Friday, Dec. 14- Sunday, Dec. 16, Westchester County Center, 198 Central Ave., White Plains, NY. Advance tickets $20; Day of performance, all seats $25. Westchester Ballet Company will take to the stage at Westchester County Center in White Plains to perform the magical tale of a young girl’s journey through a sparkling, snow-covered forest into the Land of Sweets. Pick up tickets at the County Center box office, open Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. Or purchase them through Ticketmaster at www.ticketmaster.com and at all Ticketmaster outlets. Performances will take place on Friday, December 14, 10 a.m., Saturday, December 15, 12:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., and Sunday, December 16, 2 p.m.

Toys for Tots, Saturday, Dec. 15, 11 a.m. On the Waterfront, 2 Pelham Rd., New Rochelle, NY. Legislator Jim Maisano hosts with the Westchester Marine Corps League and U.S. Marine Corps Reserves. The toys are distributed to kids in the Westchester area. Drop off a new, unwrapped toy, gift card, or check to "Toys for Tots." Hanukkah Sing-a-long, Saturday, Dec. 15, 5:30 p.m. Congregation Sulam Yaakov, 2111 Boston Post Rd., Larchmont, NY. Celebrate The Festival of Lights at Congregation Sulam Yaakov for an evening of music as we host Havdalah and a Hanukkah Sing a Long for the whole community!  Fill our sanctuary with light and song!  (Have a menorah?  Please bring it along and light with us!) Songcatchers 18th Annual Concert for Peace, Sunday, Dec. 16, 4:30 p.m. College of New Rochelle Chapel, 29 Castle Pl., New Rochelle, NY. Celebrate the holidays with Songcatchers and come to the 18th annual holiday Concert for Peace. The inter-generational Songcatchers Concert Choir and Ensemble present carols, songs of peace, and songs of the interfaith holiday season. The Concert Choir is a 50-member vocal ensemble of children and adults from our After-School Music Program, Choir Camp, and friends of Songcatchers.
