Grab & Go Kids Planner: Jules Verne Classic, Apple Fun and T-shirts

Events and activities to keep your little ones amused over the upcoming weekend.

Why Go: Pelham Picture House's Family Flick'sseries resumes on Saturday, with a screening of the Disney classic 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.
Pricing: General Admission, $8; Member, $5. Family level members and above can use their vouchers for free admission.

2. 
Where/When:
 New York Botanical Garden, 2900 Southern Boulevard, Bronx, Saturday, Sept. 3 and Sunday, Sept. 4, 10 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
Why Go: A celebration of apples for kids and their families. Activities at "All About Apples"include crafts, scavenger hunts and making apple treats.
Pricing: Free.

Where/When: Cranberry Lake Preserve, 1609 Old Orchard St., West Harrison, Saturday, Sept. 3, 1 p.m.
Why Go: Participants will have the chance to make their own imprinted T-shirts, using a variety of weeds and invasive plants found on the grounds of Cranberry Lake Preserve. Please bring your own plain white or light-colored T-shirt.
Pricing: Free.

Why Go: A free guided tour of the Greenburgh Nature Center's gardens and grounds. Trail maps will be provided.
Pricing: Free.

Where/When:
 The Science Barge, 99 Dock St., Yonkers, Sunday, Sept. 4, 2-4 p.m.
Why Go: This workshop is a part of the Science & Art Sundays on The Science Barge series. During this week's workshop, kids will learn about solar and wind energy and get the chance to create rainbow pinwheels to see how they create wind and white light. Recommended for children ages 4-10.
Pricing: $5 (supply fee).
