There will be lane closures on the Hutchinson River Parkway in the Town of Pelham this week, from Tuesday to Friday.
Both the north and southbound lanes, between exits 7 at Route 1 and 12 at East Lincoln Avenue, will be closed from 10 a.m to 2:30 p.m. for road maintenance, according to the state Department of Transportation. (Exit 7) to East Lincoln Avenue (Exit 12)
Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the work area and pay attention to all traffic control devices, including work zone signs and flaggers.
Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone and convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in a driver’s license suspension.
