Gangs of blackbeards and beauties will be swashbuckling their way through Philipsburg Manor at this rollicking event brought to you by the team that produces Horseman's Hollow. Musical pirates, gypsy sword dancers, and scallywags of all sorts will roam the grounds, ready to make you smile while secretly stealin’ yer gold. Kids can take part in the Pieces of Eight treasure hunt, wiggle their way into a pirate shipwreck, and learn to speak and act like a bloody pirate.These pillagers are able and exotic fishermen.

Why go: Every Friday, during “Downtown Sidewalk Sales” the Yonkers Business Improvement District hosts live music in the center of Getty Square for the enjoyment of shoppers. Dates include July 6, August 3, September 7, October 5 and Nov. 2.

Why go: The Westchester Sandbox Theatre presents Smokey Joe's Cafe at the Emelin Theatre. Smokey Joe's Cafe, the longest running musical revue in the history of Broadway, celebrates the song writing duo Leiber and Stoller and their chart-toppers: "Poison Ivy", "Love Potion #9", "Yakety Yak", "Hound Dog", "Stand By Me" and many more! Fusing jazz and blues with good old fashioned rock and roll, Smokey Joe's Cafe is filled with wall to wall music that will have the entire family dancing in their seats.
