Last Chance: Math Survey; Voter Registration

The Pelham school district closes its Math survey tonight. Time is also running out for community members to register to vote in this year's school budget referendum on May 15.

The Pelham School District's is closing its online survey on the math curriculum today at 11:30 p.m. The survey can be found here.

The district's math curriculum, which has been hot topic of discussion for much of the school year, is currently being studied by a number by a group of professors from Rutgers University, Bank Street College, Syracuse University, and Seton Hall University.

As part of the evaluation process, the professors have met with administrators, teachers and parents to get their feedback on how well the math curriculum is working.

The school board plans to have a presentation on the results of the math evaluation on Monday, June 4.

Also, the deadline to register for this year's Pelham school budget vote is approaching. Registration forms must be submitted before May 15, which is the date of the budget vote. Voter registration forms can be downloaded here or printed from the PDF located to the right of this story.
