Primary Voter Registration Deadline

Want to vote in state and local primaries? The registration deadline is Friday.

This Friday—Aug. 17—is an important registration deadline for state and local primaries.

Registration for the the Sept. 13, 2012, state and local primaries are as follows:

MAIL REGISTRATION 
Application must be postmarked no later than Aug. 17 and received by the Board of Elections no later than Aug. 24 to be eligible to vote in the state and local primary.

IN PERSON REGISTRATION 
You may register at your local board of elections or any state agency participating in the National Voter Registration Act, on any business day throughout the year but, to be eligible to vote in the state and local primary, your application must be received no later than Aug. 17.

CHANGE OF ADDRESS 
Notices of change of address from registered voters received by Aug. 24 by a county board of elections must be processed and entered in the records in time for the state and local primary.
