Belly Dancers for Charity Benefit for The Tutu Project

Like too many people, Linda and Bob Carey's lives have been touched by cancer. In an effort to support his wife, Bob, who is a professional photographer, started taking self-portraits in locations all over the world, wearing a pink tutu. What started out as an act of love has blossomed into a foundation to assist those with, or affected by breast cancer. Belly Dancers for Charity is very excited to be working with The Tutu Project, who will be the beneficiaries of our October 21st fundraiser, PINK, at Burger Bar 57, located at 600 Fifth Avenue in Pelham NY, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM.Belly Dancers for Charity was founded by Leslie Howard, and the organization has done fundraisers in the past for several worthy causes. The event on October 21st is our first one in Pelham and we are looking forward to a successful afternoon of professional belly dance performances featuring some of the best dancers in the tri-state area, and their students. There will be a full buffet, raffles and door prizes. Bob Carey's book "Ballerina", and Tutu Project items, will be available for purchase.Tickets are $30 ($25 for students and seniors) and reservations are strongly suggested. Please contact Leslie Howard at (914) 844 4142 forreservations and more information.                                              www.BD4C.org                      http://www.thetutuproject.com/
