Friends of Mount Vernon Public Library Book & Bake Sale!

Come to Mt. Vernon this November 8-9 for a great event featuring the
best book deals in the area, all to support the mission and work of the
Mount Vernon Public Library -- the Central Library of Westchester!

The Friends of the Library Book Sale is a semi-annual event which
happens twice a year in Spring and Fall. It features a wide variety of
books on fiction, nonfiction, and special topics as well as media like
dvds and cds. The books are donated by the Mount Vernon community. They
are books in good condition that are the for the most part not library
discards.



In addition to books there is a refreshment table with coffee and snacks. The event takes place in the library community room.



The purpose is to raise funds to support the library with programming
and other special needs. This funding is not part of the regular annual
library budget.
