Reaching the Child with Autism: A Luncheon Program

Reaching the Child with Autism: A Luncheon Program

Gain awareness about autism and learn practical action steps that prove useful to all parents during a luncheon program on Sunday, January 26, 2014, at noon in the Huguenot Memorial Church Library.

Speaker is Pelham resident, author and parent of a child with autism, Susan Deland. She will speak Spectacular Bond: Reaching the Child with Autism, the book she coauthored from the parent perspective with a pediatric neurologist and a developmental psychologist, creator of the Spectacular Bond program. Susan will give details about the unique, home-based, parent-led intervention that can help the autistic child realize the gifts that exceed the challenges.
