Dixie is big, goofy, sweet and wants to be a lapdog.
She was rescued from a large shelter with no room to continue to hold her. Dixie is already spayed and vaccinated.
One thing that is missing in her life is a family with plenty of empty laps to cuddle in.
The New Rochelle Humane Society is open everyday. Fridays through Wednesdays we are open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Thursdays 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
