"Pelville in Bloom" Awards Ceremony

Awards will be handed out to local winners for The Pelville Association's first "Pelville in Bloom" contest, which recognizes local residences and merchants for their roles in making Pelville a more beautiful place to live, work and visit. The contest winners will be announced and honored by members of the Pelville Association and Sen. Jeffrey D. Klein, who sponsored the event.

Founded in 1979, the Pelville Association is a non-political, non-partisan and not-for-profit organization for the residents of the Pelville area (South of Willow Avenue to the Pelham [Metro-North] Train Station and the Hutchinson Parkway through Ninth Avenue) in the village of Pelham.

The purpose of the Pelville Association is as follows:
-To exercise, promote and protect quality of life issues for the residents of the Pelville area
-To promote involvement in the civic affairs of the community
-To represent the residents of the Pelville area and their concerns in relation to local government and school officials
